Rézmovits and Poór Law Office was established by lawyer Péter Rézmovits in the year of 2005. The initial profile of the Law Office was determined by the experience of about 15 years that the founder had previously gained by acting first as in-house counsel of a foreign trade firm, then in the field of wholesale banking and then in the dispute resolution team of an international law firm, and later as its team manager.

From the year of 2011, Dr. Rita Poór joined the Law Office as a member with her experience of 14 years gained as an insurance lawyer including her role within a major insurer as head of the nationwide network of liability insurance claim processing.

The scope of the matters and professional competence of our Law Office has become broader and broader during the years of work done with a view to respond the demand of our clients whose circle also broadened and now embracesmergers and acquisitions, investments, the laws about credit institutions, real estate and development-related mattersand also disputes arisen in the aforesaid fields in addition to our initial competences as well as data protection, intellectual property, the whole range of property and liability insurance matters including advice provided in product development and representing clients in disputes with regard to all the aspects of the aforesaid areas. We also have gained significant experience in government administration lawsuits, in insolvency-related matters and as counsels of a firm operating as common representative of several condominiums. We have respected clients who areprivate individuals as well as Hungarian and foreign enterprises some with multinational background among them. We communicate with our clients and do work for them in Hungarian and in English.
