Dispute resolution
Dispute resolution is one of the primary areas of our Law Office. We have significant experience in civil, economical and administrative lawsuits even in complex disputes which may include many or several lawsuits. The managing lawyer of the Law Office has been engaged to regularly counsel in the lawsuits of outstanding importance of the leading domestic group of banks. Both lawyers of the Law Office have significant experience obtained as arbitrators, having proceeded is several cases.
Our services include participation in pre-litigation negotiations or discussions of settlement opportunities. We represent domestic and foreign clients in disputes concerning domestic and international issues.
Some of the disputes wherein we participated gained nation-wide attention. Examples of these are the following:
- A dispute between investors about the acquisition of a company that was a leading player in the candy industry;
- A dispute between a professional and a financial investor about the rights as to how and by whom the patent of a product developed for the nutrition of cancer patients can be exploited;
- Acting as business law expert consultant on behalf of the defence in a criminal case of international aspects, prosecuted on the basis of an indictment for a loss of several billions of HUF related to diagnostic procedures.
